Kollegal: On 18 October 2025, the Chief Election Commissioner Lobsang Yeshi was officially received by the Tibetan Settlement Officer of Kollegal, upon his arrival in Kollegal on 18 October 2025.
On 19 October, the Chief Election Commissioner Lobsang Yeshi held a public awareness talk at the settlement’s community hall, where he discussed about the forthcoming 2026 Sikyong and Tibetan Parliamentarian elections. He provided clarity on the election rules and regulations, emphasising the importance of active and informed participation in the democratic process.
