An art exhibition in Dharamsala sought to answer that question as a Tibetan artist collective, Khadok, showcased 90 paintings created by children under the theme Dear Kundun. The exhibition, held on 17 August 2025, marked the 90th birthday of the Dalai Lama. The paintings reflected how young Tibetans imagine and connect with their exiled leader — some portraying him as a compassionate teacher, others as a symbol of resilience and hope. Organisers said the event was both a celebration of the Dalai Lama’s life and an affirmation of Tibetan identity in exile. @VOATibetan
