Some students were taking their first steps in learning Tibetan letters, while others engaged in reading and discussing Tibetan stories. Tibet Radio visited the Sera Jey International Online School to understand how the programme operates. Now in its sixth year, the school has taught more than a thousand students, becoming a vital educational link for Tibetan families in the diaspora. Teachers told Tibet Radio that the initiative is closely connected to His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s third commitment—the preservation of Tibetan language, culture, and identity. They noted that these late-night lessons are part of a broader effort to keep Tibetan heritage alive for the next generation.
