On this day, October 20, 2010, His Holiness the Great 14th Dalai Lama was awarded; "The International Freedom Conductor Award" by the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center in Cincinnati, USA.
In recognition of;
* His lifelong non-violent commitment to promoting peace, human rights and
religious harmony.
* His leadership in the non-violent struggle for the liberation of Tibet.
