Hunsur: On the morning of 25 February 2025, Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration attended the Cham dance ceremony at the Dzongkar Choede in Hunsur Rabgyaling as its chief guest.
The Cham dance, a sacred ritual performed by Buddhist monks, is a profound act of spiritual offering. The monks of Dzongkar Choede performed the dance as a prayer for the long life of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and the quick resolution of Tibet’s struggle.
