The event, hosted at Sikyong Hall in T-Building, Gangchen Kyishong, brought together around 80 scholars to discuss the historical, cultural, and geopolitical ties between Tibet and the Himalayan region. The conference marks an important academic initiative to strengthen understanding and dialogue on the shared heritage and challenges of the region. Tibet Radio executive interviewed TPI researcher and conference coordinator Dr. Tsewang Dorji, who underscored the importance of this landmark conference.
